Kate Walters Hind Cradling Child

Kate Walters - Drawing Hind and Halo

St Ives – R. bought a Kate Walters drawing from the Millennium Gallery – a hind cradling a child, and – a hind haloed. The dog eared flyer for her show at the Exchange tucked above the  Rayburn has transformed into the full sized real thing.  She appears in the magazine Artichoke that R.D. brought over, earlier eviscerated forms? R.D taking about overhaul of Artichoke for a spring edition. – redesign, re-brand. He is talking about publishing my “Rehab drawings”. A chance to help out on the design of the thing, to drag it into something other than it is.

Xmas reading list (people were generous and didn’t f*** around and gave books!): H. Hesse – Steppenwolf/ Marcus Aurelius – Meditations/Kieth Richards – Life/Erotic drawings of Degas/ Erotic drawings of Picasso./ Samir Kasser – On Being an Arab. (Hesse wasn’t a present – Redruth’s catholic range of charity shops is the autodidacts heaven.)
